There is nothing as magical and satisfying, and yet devastating, as the need to have control. Masculinity in its controlling form is juxtaposed here with play and liveliness. Sharp lines, defined shapes and arrested flows interact with soft draping.
Thousands of threads are tied together and yarn is crocheted into a predetermined shape to visualise the relationship between eye and hand. Crafting is essential to my work.
