From a break in time during a performance or event, to the empty space between two forms. How can we take advantage of a break in different ways? How can we shape a physical break? Through contrast of materials and colour, we will reinterpret the meaning of interlude by creating a calm and inviting environment, where we can highlight our furniture pieces and interplay of different forms, creating a natural rhythm in the space.
About the project
Every year at Beckmans, the final year Product Design students work on a six month collaboration with some of Sweden's leading furniture companies. The final prototypes are presented at the Stockholm Furniture Fair 2023, at exhibition stand C06:33.
